A Clockwork Pern Mating Flights and Clutches
1. Greens rise twice a Turn, and golds once. Hopefully this will keep from getting cluttered with too many Flights.
2. Flights are required to remain open for the maiden Flight. Afterwards, if you have a green, you may have closed Flights with the weyrmate of your choice, though it isn't recommended. Gold Flights are always open, and no stand ins are allowed.
3. Golds blood. Greens do not. Dragons are typically proddy for up to a week before rising.
4. Gold dragons clutch three months after Flight (ICly), and clutches hatch three months after that. As the player of a gold dragon, you are allowed to help in egg and dragon descriptions, but the administrators decide how many eggs, how many of each color, and who the babies will go to. The same goes towards wher clutches. Fire lizard clutches will be randomly rolled and assigned, with the exception of queens and bronzes.
5. Green dragons do not clutch. Green whers and fire lizards do, but their clutch numbers will be limited, to keep both from overpopulating the Weyr.
6. You must attain permission for all Flights, and they should be scheduled at least a week in advance.
7. For gold dragon flights, we would prefer that you clear the winner with an administrator first. Browns will rarely catch Queens of any species. A gold caught by a brown will not produce a gold egg, and may not produce any bronzes. Keep that in mind!
